Observations and Conclusions:
The Ghost Trackers arrived at the “most haunted house in the South’s Most Haunted Small Town” as the new moon rose high in the midnight sky. With new members in tow who were nervously anticipating what they might encounter and
a sense of fear of the unknown.
Member’s Lacey and Ron proceeded in collecting baseline data while Betty, Vylanda and Jamey went about setting up equipment. After prayers of protection
the group of eight divided into two groups of four .The night’s investigation began......
From the onset the motion detectors in the “blood stain room”, where no one of
“earthly persuasion” was present became active. After a serious of pictures were taken and attempts to communicate were made the two groups switched places.
With Valynda and her team now downstairs and Betty and her team upstairs once again attempting to communicate with the ghosts of the house. The EMF detector
went off sporadically in the children’s room upstairs . BBGT members sensed the presence of a small child thought to be a girl in the upstairs rooms . With a video camera in place in the children’s room upstairs .The group went into the pink room with it’s bed so lovingly made with it’s delicate bedspread in place and Teddy Bear carefully at the beds head. The group patiently sat and waited.........after a while exiting to go into the pink room. Just as Betty, the last one to leave the room , made her way through the door turned and saw in disbelief the teddy bear was now at the center of the bed....having moved by unseen hands!
We then moved to the room across the hall. We started getting EMF reading from a bed there. We had gotten EMF just before the teddy bear moved. Before there was nothing in the other room and now there was. Once we found the EMF it went away. It was as if the ghost of the little girl was playing hide and seek with us. We would find her with the EMF detector and then she would move. It was very exciting. Hearing a commotion downstairs the group went to check it out and finding one of its female members quiet unnerved while during mediation the EMF Detector went off then having the sensation of being brushed against by a male presence.
With “something” draining batteries as fast as they were put into cameras, and a battery of Valynda’s disappearing then reappearing in a room that she had not entered the atmosphere became pretty eerie!
The nights activities ended with BBGT’s new and old members leaving the centuries old home with a greater respect for the Ghost of the Palmer House.
