Any unusual occurrences: Discovered several “Boundaries” where it could be physically felt that were not intended for intrusion.

Observations and Conclusions: Based on a preliminary investigation conducted on 14 June 2003, Bigbend Ghosttrackers investigated a private residence located at Oldtown, Florida, on 26 July 2003, at the request of the homeowner and her family.
Ghosttrackers Betty, Valynda, Jim, Chris, Michelle, and an observer, Tony arrived at the residence at approximately 9:30pm. The homeowner, Mrs. M., her daughter, Chris, and her son-in -law, Marty was present.

After introductions of the Ghosttracker team and a review of the preliminary investigation findings with the homeowner and her family, equipment was set up and baseline temp and EMF scans were taken by Jim, Chris, and Michelle, in each room of the residence and on the outside noting any power lines and appliances that could give a false reading.

Although the investigation was centered around capturing an apparition which had been seen by various family members and was witnessed during the preliminary investigation by BBGT Chris, the investigation produced several other interesting phenomena as well. 

At approximately 10:33pm, observer Tony made an interesting observation of feeling the presence of an entity in the laundry closet. Betty took several photographs of the area while Jim scanned with the thermal laser scanner and EMF meter. It was noted at this point that Tony’s outside body temperature scanned at 82ºF inside the closet and 96.4oF outside the closet. EMF reading increased from 1.5mg to 3.0mg inside the closet area then back to 1.5mg which was in accordance with baseline readings and subsequent random readings taken inside the laundry closet.

Several other anomalies were noted on the property as well. The area directly behind the house produced a negative effect of unease, suffering and danger to the home’s occupants. Chris and Marty experienced this as well as BBGT Chris while investigating this area. Several orbs were captured on 35mm film in this area.

On the right side of the house near a storage shed, another “boundary” was discovered. BBGTs Jim, Chris, Michelle, and observer Tony all experienced a physical tingling sensation when they placed their hands through the edge of this boundary. Also several orbs were captured on both digital and 35mm camera in this area. Another boundary was discovered about 20 yards away between the entrance gate to the property and the house in the driveway. To verify this boundary, Jim had Marty, Chris, and Tony each walk up the drive and without telling them where it was asked them to stop if they sensed a feeling of discomfort. On all three occasions each of the experiment’s participants stopped at approximately the same spot next a large oak tree at the edge of the drive. None of the participants were told that a boundary was there.

Inside the house, Betty picked up on several spirit presences, most notably, that of Marty’s deceased mother. She identified and described this lady in detail and gave Marty the message that she was very proud of him for the awards he had won. Marty validated this description as very accurate and validated that he had in fact won several awards in school and at work. It was determined that these spirit presences were in fact there due to the presence of Marty himself, as well as several others which seemed to be around Mrs. M. and that these presences were not there at all times.
On the porch where the apparition had been spotted, two orbs were captured on videocam as well as one orb with what appeared to have the face of a man of indeterminate age in it. BBGTs Betty and Valynda sensed the presence of a young man who had possibly met with a violent death on the property. Valynda sensed that this man had possibly been killed in a hunting accident and that his body had been hidden somewhere on the property during some undetermined timeframe in the 20th century. At approximately 11:40pm it was determined that the investigation should be concluded as enough data had been gathered to validate the haunting presences on this property. 

Conclusions: After review of the data collected and individual reports of each team member and the observer, it was concluded that there were many residual presences on the property and the area surrounding the house. Historical data revealed that it was the approximate spot where the killing of a group of native Americans during the Seminole Wars of the early 1800’s by Andrew Jackson’s troops occurred. It was also noted that there may be other presences that should not be disturbed in the area behind the house and that the boundaries existed for good reason. We would like to thank Mrs. M., Marty, and Chris for their hospitality and cooperation in allowing us to investigate this highly interesting and haunted spot.
