St. Margaret's Church

This charming old church was erected in 1915 although it no longer serves as a house of worship energies from a by gone era is still very prevalent in the air. St. Margaret's was built during a time when it was customary for members of the congregation to purchase the pews that were to be used for there families. Some of these original pews are still in use and are in the church. 

Church's are known venues for paranormal activity most likely because of the enormous amount of energies that have been spent inside their walls, i.e. weddings, funerals, baptisms, christenings, counseling. 

Big Bend Ghost Trackers along with their guest Panhandle Paranormal Investigators arrived at the church at approximately 9:30 p.m. after an evening of touring local haunted sites. Dawn from PPI collected base line data establishing the temperatures in various places in the building.

After setting up video equipment the investigation begin. Meredith from PPI set about using an EMF Detector. The EMF meter went off sporadically in the far left area of the church attempting to establish logical reasons Meredith then placed the meter on a table. After a brief period of inactivity the meter begin erratic beeping. All possible logical sources were eliminated . Ghost Tracker Betty and Scott begin talking to the entity asking it to obey simple commands, such as STOP… which it did! START back beeping which it also did. Scott also instructed it to beep one time if it was a woman and two times if it was a man. It after a few moments of the command beeped one time! Incidentally a video tape was filming all of the above. Big Bend Ghost Trackers have not at any time previously during an investigation had an EMF Meter obey a command. BBGT has however has had an orb obey a command during a previous investigation. BBGT is still viewing and reviewing video tape attempting to validate that this anomaly was indeed paranormal. Orbs were captured with digital cameras . Is it possible an energy field exist inside the old church????? Or just perhaps spirits of long departed worshipers clinging to a place that they sought peace and solace at in there earthly existence.
