Observations and Conclusions: On 22 November, 2002 an investigation was conducted at an empty residence located at 119 Highland Road, Perry, Florida. The basis for this investigation was two fold; Personal observations and witness interviews from former residents indicated the possible presence of paranormal activity, and the opportunity to give some recent workshop attendees some experience in the field.
The investigation began at approximately 8:31pm and all Standards and Protocol were followed. We entered the house and set up the infrared videocam in the kitchen area which was one of the areas where reported activity had taken place. We stationed 2 people in each of the 3 bedrooms of the house to make observations and report any unusual phenomena.

After approximately 45 minutes with no reported phenomena, the 2 investigators in the far back bedroom reported that they were extremely cold and that one felt the presence of a "mean dog". I immediately took a digital camera to the back bedroom along with another investigator with a digital camera and took approximately 10 photos in the room. Two of the photographs revealed the presence of several orbs in the room. I myself also felt extremely cold but temperature scans with a thermal laser scanner revealed no significant drop or increase in temperature and EMF readings remained in the normal range. At one point during the investigation, one of the local ghosthunters kept getting an image in his mind of the young boy who was killed in a freak accident on the property in 1957. Another got mental images of 2 names, one Eva or Ava, and the other Jerald or Gerald.

Subsequent research revealed that the former resident's mother who passed away in that house was named Ava. The former resident also has a living grandson named Jerald. Several more digital photographs through the house contained orbs as well in the living room and the kitchen. No significant images or orbs were noted on review of the infrared video.

No unusual phenomena were noted on the EVP. Conclusions, this residence obviously has some spirit activity. Possibly the former resident's mother and a man whose identity remains unknown at this time and possibly a few "visiting" spirits who although came out to be photographed did not cause any other phenomena. Investigation conducted primarily by Jim and Chris Hatcher and local ghosthunters Kaner, Buddy, Kim, John, Beth Ann and Joe.
